Garry Rogers Motorsport has unveiled the liveries for the four Holdens that will be raced in the Supercars Championship and the Dunlop Super2 Series.

After spending many years with the blue-themed Wilson Security cars while racing Volvos (for two years) and Holden (last year), team owner Garry Rogers feels a change was needed.

This morning they revealed the new white, black and red themed Holden ZB Commodores that Garth Tander and rookie James Golding will race in Supercars this year.

While the team’s Super2 entry for Mason Barbera (#99) will be identical to the other Wilson Security Holdens, but Chris Pither’s entry will dorn the New Zealand-branch – First Security – featuring a blue fern.

Both Super2 Holden will retain the VF Commodore bodywork this year while the Supercars entires will be upgraded to the new ZB Commodore aero.

“After the many years that I have spent in motorsport I certainly get a buzz when I see new cars roll out at the beginning of a new season,” said team owner Garry Rogers.

“I am very fortunate to have a very loyal and enthusiastic group of sponsors who are very energetic when it comes to the livery design on our race cars.

“Since 2014 we have incorporated blue in to our livery and as much as I had become quite fond of the blue, we all thought it was time for a change.

“For 2018 our #33 and #34 Virgin Australia Supercar Championship cars along with our #99 Super2 race car will be red, black and white and the Super2 #44 of Kiwi Chris Pither will keep a little blue in the team with his distinctive New Zealand themed and First Security sponsored car.

“Looks are certainly one thing, but performance is what really matters, and I have enormous faith in all my staff. I can’t wait for the season to start.”
